We were treated with a beautiful display of big, wet flakes swirling around yesterday morning. So of course, we all watched – running from window to window, calling out for the others to come and see the snow from this window. “Will it pile up?” “Can we go sledding?” When they could tear themselves away from the windows long enough, then began the mad scramble for the winterwear. Boots, scarves, mittens flying everywhere. And of course, there was the obligatory hot chocolate afterwards, and the scattered, muddy, wet winterwear afterwards. And the snow was gone by lunchtime. And they’re ready for more (me, too)!
